Check out this link to find out more about this little gem of a pocketbook full of strategies and study skills for learning to learn.
Learn more about the author Tom Barwood and the illustrator Phil Hailstone.
This pocketbook has been designed for both teachers and their students.
According to Tom Barwood, the key to learning anything successfully depends on two things:
1) Why you want to learn it (desire)
and
2) Knowing how to learn it (technique).
The 'why' is often affected badly by the 'how' for most people because they've been trying to
learn something in a way that just doesn't work for them.
I know I've been there!
The first part of the book centres on motivation, and the second part on mechanics -
registering, retaining, recalling, revising and then onto slicing, mind-mapping, learning styles,
mnemonics, mind pegs and seven keys to memorising stuff and so much more.
It's a practical, innovative, and fun pocket-size companion!
P.S. Stay tuned for my new channel, "Learning to Learn", arriving soon on my daily inspiration blog, Enjoy.
