Spudvilas' illustration of a Prince process is incredibly inspiring!
There is an interesting page at the end of the book about what China was like in the 1960's
when Li's story began.
After reading this book, I was motivated to read Cunxin's Mao's Last Dancer and watch the movie.
Both are brilliant!
Next will be his wife Mary Li's book, Mary's Last Dance: The untold story of the wife of Mao's Last Dancer
followed by Li's new book, The Lucky Son, scheduled for release in October this year! Can't wait for that!!
