For my first blog on this channel, I'm introducing my beautiful cat (Felis catus) Sofè Sweetè.

I've got all sorts of nicknames for her, such as Little Mish Mash, Happy Little Cat, My Lioness,

and Poo Bear (just to name a few)!

 

Here she is (with her fav pink mousy):

 

Sofè Sweetè is a domestic medium-haired tortoise-shell tabby.

She's a bit of this and a bit of that. Even her whiskas (whiskers) are different colours - hehehe🤣😂 

She'll be twelve years young this October.

Sofè Sweetè was only a wee kitten when she became part of my life. She was the last kitten from a litter that the Cat Haven had for sale at a local pet shop. My Mum saw her and knew that she'd be a purr-fect companion for me, after my 11 year old cat Sinè had passed away from breast cancer. Honestly, my little kitty katt has brought me so much unconditional love, joy, companionship, and fun over the years. I'd be lost without her.

Pets are family!

I especially love the sound of her purring. It is mesmerizing, calming and peaceful.

I also love the massive meows she lets out when she is playing with her fav pink mousy. 

Every day, I lean in close to her (maintaining eye contact - of course) and say, "I love you! I love you! I love you!"

She responds with her motor running on full purr throttle!

Pets make such a difference in your life. If you don't have a pet, I highly recommend you get one.

It doesn't have to be a cat, it could be a bird, rabbit, fish, dog or reptile... whatever you like.

It's been proven that petting a cat or dog for as little as ten minutes can reduce stress.

Well, at least my Sofè Sweetè does. She especially enjoys being petted under the chin and around her ears!
