Finding for Friday!
"When someone is seeking" said Siddhartha,
"it happens quite easily that he only sees
the thing that he is seeking;

he is only thinking of the thing he is seeking,
because he has a goal,
because he is obsessed with his goal.
Seeking means: to have a goal;
but finding means: to be free, to be receptive, to have no goal.

you do not see many things that are under your nose."

Siddhartha is such a beautiful novel that I return to regularly.
This book reminds me to stop seeking and to embrace finding contentment
in the here and now.
We are not what we have, or what we achieve, or what we do for a living.
Even the constant striving for more, and when we reach the more,
somehow, that doesn't seem enough. Seems crazy, right?!
When we are whole and worthy as we are right NOW.
Let's practise accepting the present moment and just enjoy being!
